Primal hunters of the sky fantasize about fried bliss, a legendary coastal ornithological site to see. As gulls circle above the surf and the scent of salt air mixes with fried potatoes, you can smell the salty goodness of Thrasher’s Fries, unmatched by any other fry in all the land (all the island). By now, you should be salivating at the mere imagery of this very moment.

Twas 1929 when a Georgian entrepreneur, J. T. Thrasher arrived in Ocean City with an unusual idea to open a food stand that would sell only one item: French fries. Many doubted this idea, and surely, they were inevitably salty about the legendary success still thriving today.

Each year, thousands of bottles of vinegar are poured over these famous fries in a mythically enticing manner, a ritual of Ocean City itself worth every second spent in line.

AND SURE ENOUGH, WHERE THERE ARE THRASHERS FRIES THERE ARE HUNGRY SEA GULL EYES WAITING FOR YOU TO EMPATHIZE WITH THEIR FAUX FAMINE GLAZED GLARE.
